We care about the environment as much as you do. That’s why we only work with forestry contractors who manage their woodlands responsibly.

Our wood comes from trees that are a by product of other industries, like furniture making. By using these trees, we help improve forest health and biodiversity. These are trees that have either been damaged by wildlife, or are ready to be thinned within the forest to improve biodiversity.

Our ready-cut & split firewood logs are sold in half cubic metre bags; We cut our firewood to smaller sizes (8¼ inches/210mm) to fit in domestic wood burners.

Smaller logs pack together more tightly in the bag, leaving less empty space between them. This means you’re getting more wood—and better value—compared to bags with larger logs that leave more air gaps. We can cut larger or smaller sizes depending on the size of your appliance.

Being a local Brighton business, we know the area well. Because of our delivery method we are able to access the smaller roads in towns and cities and provide a true ’doorstep’ delivery.

We kiln dry our wood to ensure it is completely dry. This is better for your appliance and chimney whilst also reducing maintenance and fuel costs.

By kiln drying our firewood logs we ensure no wildlife sets up home in amongst the wood (they don’t like kiln dried wood as it’s too dry as a habitat).

We use the bark & chippings from trimming our logs before they are cut to feed the kilns for the drying process.
