Local Firewood Delivery for Households

We care about the environment just as much as we care about our firewood. All of our wood comes from sustainably managed sources, often as a by-product of timber grown for other industries like furniture making. That means the trees we use are either thinnings — removed to improve forest health — or damaged trees that wouldn’t be suitable for anything else.

Our drying process is fuelled by the waste we generate when cutting and processing logs — things like bark, sawdust, and wood chips. Even the heat used to dry your logs comes from recycled wood, not fossil fuels.

Our logs are cut to an average length of 8¼ inches (210mm), making them ideal for domestic wood burners and stoves. If you’ve ever bought firewood that doesn’t fit your appliance properly, you’ll know how frustrating it can be. We cut to size as standard, and if you need logs a bit larger or smaller, we’re happy to accommodate — just let us know when ordering.

Because we cut our logs smaller, they pack more tightly in the bag. That means less wasted space, more burnable wood, and better value for money.

Our delivery process is designed with convenience in mind. Thanks to the way we operate, we’re able to reach properties on narrow streets, through tight access points, and in places that larger delivery vehicles often can’t manage. We aim to get your logs as close as possible to where you want them, and we’re always happy to discuss access in advance to avoid any surprises.

If you’ve got a gravel driveway or a tricky entrance, just give us a call — we can usually check things on Google Maps and give you a quick answer. Our crane can reach about three metres from the side of the vehicle, so we’ll always aim to place the bags somewhere practical and safe.

All of our firewood is kiln-dried to ensure it burns cleanly and efficiently. This is better for your appliance, reduces chimney build-up, and makes it easier to get your fire going quickly. Kiln drying also removes any moisture that might attract insects or cause mould — a key benefit if you’re storing logs inside a garage, shed, or home.

Dry logs don’t just perform better — they’re also safer, more economical, and better for the air quality in your home.

We use the waste derived from processing our logs, such as wood chips, sawdust and bark, to fire our kilns for our drying process.
